Anyone else catch the speeches tonight? I thought Zell Miller did a hell of a jon. Cheney's speech, i thought, wasnt as compelling, but damn did Miller give one hell of a delivery.

oh and what was up with that lady they carted outta there during Cheney's speech?

bump for W hope he does well tomorrow night. God forbid he fucks up any words because we will all hear about it until election day.

Because he runs as a democrat when his voting record is clearly republican. he refuses to endorse the woman who will take his seat in the senate when he retires next yr. yes he is very conservative. but i think where alot of the divisivness comes from is how different the democratic party is compared to how is used to be. they moved away from the middle and much more towards the left.

just another quick thing......did anyone else see the polls on the protestors who are NY right now?? i dont remember the exact numbers, but they went something like this

60% feel the war in Afghanistan was unjustified
62% feel Iraqi insurgents are justified to be firing at our boys
50% oppose capitalism and want a socialist/communist govnt


plus.....a shitload of cops have been hurt as a result of their bullshit. the one dude was arrested because he was beating up a cop while he was down...think he left him unconcious or something. now protest all you want....its your right as an American which was given to you by the fellas and ladies who have been taking casualties in foreign wars for years and years. but for Gods sake, do it peacefully. John Kerry didnt hurt anyone when he tossed his medals over the fence or made his accusations after he got home......but his actions sure did.

good point Quasi......yes they have ALL seemed to take a different direction, but there are STILL conservative democrats out there (although very few in office), and he is one of them. I cannot say I agree with the direction the dem party has taken their stances on certain issues and I can also say I do not agree with the far right. but when it comes down to it, I side with the republican party because I believe their values and intentions mirror my own.
