I think they are the basically the same in taht the needle is fixed. They say that they dont sell to the public. But I`ll bet they depend on the buyer to supply the documention and willl ship befor they get it. Damn sure cheap arite- just goes to show how much the others are gouging us. Might send em an order and see what happens.

I looked at that wholesale site again and deceided they were serious after all, so went with I-Med- damn fast shipping. But you got me to thinking-and I do kinda crash after the weekly shot- have been for several months, but never actually thought much about it. In 20-20 retrospect my libido was going thru the roof on day 2 and 3 and after all was said and done, crashing for the rest of the week. Sound familiar ?
Part of the problem has been that I really dont like the shots. I dont mind the stick for a blood draw but theres something wrong about doing it to myself. Just dont care for it and tend to avoid it if at all possible. Been slacking on the hcg too- and the boys are beginning to show it. Got the 1ml today. Had to go with a 26 for the hcg. The hcg order is all ready to mail. Looks like 3 a week for a while. Oh well ...

I am with you on the shots. I liked them at first because it was something that helps but now I don't really like it much. It doesn't hurt or anything. It is just mental. Poking a piece of steel into your body just doesn't seem right.

Even before I brought it up my new Dr. said he could call in a prescription for a strong compounded cream if I wanted to try it. Androgel didn't work for me but he said this is 10% instead of 1% and should work. He said he never prescribes Androgel because he says it is too weak. The other concern I had was the cost. Even with insurance Androgel costed me over $50 a month. My Tcyp, even at the high dose I do, is about $15 a month. I checked with the compounding pharmacy he recommended and 90 days worth is about $100. They do accept insurance if mine would pay for a compounded medicine. Even without insurance this compound would be $20 a month cheaper than Androgel.

The denser the cream or gel the more testosterone you have to use to get same amount of testosterone into blood stream.

Androgel is the easiest to go thru skin.
Usually 10grams/day is need.
It is 1% suspension, so 10 gram contains 0.1gram of testosterone.

To get same effect from 10% cream, one have to use about 3 grams/day of such a cream.
That would be 0.3grams of testosterone.

Most of that testosterone is wasted on unsuspecting by standers, women and children.
Only small amount goes into blood stream.

My first thought with the cream was whether I could get enough into me. Androgel claims an average absorption of 10% so .01g or 10mg with a 10g application. I figured the cream wouldn't absorb as well. The compounding pharmacy said they measure it in mL instead of grams for easy measurement. They said 1mL has 100mg of testosterone. Like you said this is the same as 10g of Androgel. When I used 5g of Androgel my TT only went to 273. 1ml of this would be better but maybe not if it doesn't absorb as well. I am afraid I would end up using 2ml and have cream all over me just to keep my levels up. I use testosterone up quickly.

If you have got tt=273 on 5 grams of Androgel, that is very low response.
I have a bad news for you.

Transdermals will not work for you.
Any transdermals, more or less dense, cream or gel.

You only way is to get T shots, unless you are secondary and will produce your own T if stimulated with HCG.

Very likely you are off on thyroid. Thyroid may be the reason for lack of absorption.

I find out about my thyroid tomorrow. I know I am low because my basal temperature is low. I will definately stay with the shots to make sure my levels stay high enough if I have to. I am just dreaming a little.
