Default Dr Crisler recommend gels but seems like everyone else says shots?

Most would agree that Dr John Crisler is one of. if not "the" most respected dr in the field
of TRT medicine and from listening to one of his lectures he really stresses that the gels
are his number one choice.

From my "scrolling the boards" it seems that shot are overwhelmingly more popular.

Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Gels/creams are generally more 'natural' and follow a bit more your natural rhytm. they also boost DHT which for a lot of us is low also. ALso, its often much easier to control estrogen with gels, although I know some here dispute that.

Shots can be cheaper and easier though....and dont have the pain in the ass of application daily or twice daily.

I would like to see real good explanation for that.

I suspect they are experimenting on us, I like T shots, will change my pregnenolone cream to gel.

I would like to see explanation that would be as speaking to another doctor who is specialist in this.
Details, facts no bs.

For example, listening to one of the lectures by Patrick Hanaway, MD, head of Genova Diagnostics,
he discusses (wery briefly) diferences between
pills
gels or
cream
delivery of progesterone during HRT for women.

it boils down to speed of delivery and speed of metabolism of E2 on it difeerent pathways.

That was progesterone and women, now the question is men and testosterone.

And I gotta stand up and say though - that one thing Jan said to me months ago, was to switch to shots for my T delivery.

I was skeptical because I thought my labs were starting to show the gel was working. It was not.

Upon switching to shots it became very obvious that my T levels were finally rising. Unfortunately while I had some success in EQ improvement, it was only a 2 day improvement. The following week I didn't see the same results. I'll raise my injection amount again this week.
