Default E2 and Free T

Let's say your have a good Total T and your free T is in the upper range, which is good. Now your E2 is say 45 range 10-50. That is higher than you would want it to be. Does that mean that you are not getting the benefit of the free T? Little confused on that.

Free T is just that, FREE T. It is what is left over after the SHBG has gobbled up the rest of it tightly, and other carriers, primarily albumin, weakly.

Default E will raise naturally as T raises.

There seems agreement in the lit that it is ratio rather than level on T to E. Still as long as I have enough for brain function, I prefer to keep E at low normal levels, or as close as possible.

Someone correct me, is the level not something like 30-1?
