estradiol and sex drive

Not enough of to much of estradiol kill libido. My experience with HRT is small. But, I think every people is different about biochemistry.

I take HRT with LPO gel at 10 % .(3 application)
My blood test said that my estradiol is too high (60 pg). My physician said that I'm too much estradiol .right

I try for myself small dose of femara 1/4 tablet two time a week. This small dosage lower a little bit my libido, but doesn't kill it, but my performance in bed is less better than before. My cognition is far less better too

My body have less water retention but it's not spectacular, I think a look better when I cut my carb depiste my high estradiol.

I'm curious if people have the same experience with this very low dosage of anti-aromatase ?

I'm not a expert but I said that brain/ nervous system high estradiol is good and in the body high estradiol is bad. I think in the future a agonist of brain estradiol is the king. (good for cognition, arousal, NGF, BDNF, sex ect...)

The reason that you have a Estrogen problem is because of the PLO gel. PLO gel absorbs too quickly which will increase Estrogen conversion. Get a T Cream that is compounded using a vanishing cream base. Apply to the inner bicep area of 1 bicep and alternate biceps every day. You can get this T Cream from www.womensinternational.com.

thank but I don't live in US, may be Andro gel is a better version, less estradiol ?

Even a quarter of a tab will take me out of the zone
A quarter of a tab of 1mg arimidex every 72 hours will keep my E2 in check
You should ask your doctor about changing your gel and please try arimidex
or even dim before going back to femara

Thank for this information, I've taking a blood test of my estradiol level this day, when I have the result I put it on the board (remember only 1/4 tabs of femara, 2 times a week)...

I try 1/4 tabs of arimidex next time...

The lower the concentration of the gel, like Androgel, which is 1%, the more gel you need to use and the more skin you need to use. This usually leads to higher Estrogen and DHT conversion. A higher concentration cream, like 10%, will require less cream and less skin area, which will lead to less Estrogen and DHT conversion. You can always try Androgel and see how it works for you. It may be better than the PLO gel. You can also consider Testosterone Pellet implants, which is discussed in the follwing thread. Another option would be SubQ T Cyp shots.

Thank for answer. How much SubQ T Cyp shots a week ? Do you think that you are less estradiol with SubQ T Cyp shots ? Why is better than normal muscle injection ?

In order to avoid Estrogen problems and polycythemia, the T needs to be release very slowly and the T dosage needs to be correct. With T Cyp IM done every 3 days, Estrogen is usually not a problem, but the T still releases pretty quick and HCG will probably be necessary the day before the next T Cyp shot to maintain T levels. With T Cyp SubQ every 3 days it releases much slower than IM and also it is more convenient than IM and also probably no need for HCG because it maintains more even levels of T

If a dosage of T Cyp is 100mg per week, then it would come to 100 / 7 * 3 = 42.85mg or 43mg every 3 days. Even this dosage may be too much and should be reviewed after labs.
