I have been using res chem. femara, after I found out I tested high in total estrogen. I noticed a slight positive effect in my libido and erections. It wasn't drastic for me, I don't think it got to the root of my problem. Perhaps I will try arimidex next time and see what happens. But in terms of it killing most people's libido, I've seen this being said on a lot of the other boards by guys doing steroid cycles. I don't know if it really is the femara itself, or the dosage. It's probably the dosage because just as too much estrogen can kill libido and erections, so can too little. Many here can attest to that. A very small amount has been shown to be very effective at lowering estrogen, and 2.5mg (standard dose) is probably way too much, especially for someone not on androgens, or someone on a low dose as TRT. I split it into 1/3, and take it every other day. So .8mg EOD. If estrogen is a concern, also consider DIM as well. |

http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=150estro I would get some Indolplex/DIM and start on one tablet a day. When your E2 comes down you will get rock hard morning wood so hard it wakes you up. When this happens you know your E2 is down keep taking the Indolplex/DIM but if the wood stops this means your E2 went to low if your young and have morning wood you will know the difference. So lets say if the rock hard wood stops for a younger men. When this happens stop taking the Indolplex/DIM until the wood comes back the day it comes back go back on it but take half cut the tablet in half. Take the tablet at dinner time E2 goes highest at night when your sleeping. Keep doing this until you find the right dose. Now working out and losing or gaining weight will change your E2 levels so keep an eye out for the wood. If your not taking T meds anymore you will find you E2 will come down very fast so if your not on T meds. The be careful not to go to low to fast and miss the wood. It happens to a lot of men I tell them one thing and they do shit like 2 tables a day. It can come down very fast in 2 to 3 days or slow and take 1 to 2 weeks. My E2 was over the top of the labs range and I got it down taking Arimidex one half of a one mg. pill everyday. I took me 4 weeks and no morning wood ever on Arimidex. Yet the Indolplex/DIM gave me morning wood for the first time in 35 yrs. I am 61. I did not figure this out I was told about it by David Z he is at the forum if you want to talk to him. If you don't have Low T and keep using it it will stop your testis form working so will doing steroids. I never did them and had a dame good body lifting weights and working out. A lot of guys at the Forum have low T from steroids so stay off them. SWALE posted back to you by you took it wrong. He is a Dr. John and at his site he gives his treatment out to anyone free. I could hardly walk form using gels to replace my T levels I went on them when they first came out but they did not get to T to my joints and muscles and as time went on I got so sore I could hardly walk. I read Dr. John site and printed it out and gave a copy to my Dr. and he put me on Dr. John's treatment now I walk one hr. every other day and work out 2 hrs 3 days a week. I am 61 and have had low T for over 21 yrs. I never felt this good ever on TRT. http://www.allthingsmale.com/ Here is the link to Indolplex/DIM I use. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html I also take TMG with it to help flush out the bad E's. http://www.myvitanet.com/tmgtr75120ca.html Take some Zinc for like you don't get it in your diet anymore with corn fed meat we eat. http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html But to start just use the Indolplex/DIM Let me know how it works for you. Thanks for your help Phil, What i cant understand about my situation though is that from what i can gather all my symptoms are pointing toward high E2. However i stopped taking test 4 months back, and it was for BB reasons, not TRT. I would have thought that my E2 levels would have fallen back to normal long ago, everything else is getting back to normal, yet i still feel like shit. Anyway i am getting E2 re-tested tomorrow (was tested before but the lab thought i was female), I guess ill take it from there. |

You need a test like this. http://www.labcorp.com/datasets/labc...o/sr012000.htm Here is my take on E2 and T when your E2 is high your brain can't tell the difference when it checks your T levels so if your E2 is high the brain thinks it is T and dose not sent the message to the testis to make more T. So the higher your E2 the less of a chance of your T levels going up. Your doing the T for BB drove up your E2 and your testis are not getting the message to make more T. I am not a Dr. so this is the best way I can explain it.
