As many of you know, I am on
hCG monotherapy.
I am having open surgery on each of my shoulders over the next month. I figure I may as well get them both done reasonably close together, so I don't need to spend too much time away from the gym. In each shoulder, I will have cromiom shaving, decompression of bursa, cleanup of fraying tendon and ligament damage, and a non-slap labral repair.
I'm exploring how I can hasten recovery from surgery. I've read a fair amount about
EQ and
DECA, and, of course,
HGH. I've also read that
testosterone can help. If
testosterone will do the trick, I would prefer to just supplement/stack the
hCG (1000 IUs E3Ds) with testosterone, as I have used it before and know what to expect. My ortho surgeon treats pro athletes, and is willing to prescribe to help prevent my body from falling apart.
I'd really appreciate feedback regarding 4 issues:
1) Will additional testosterone hasten recovery, of do I need something else, such as
Deca?
(Currently, my free T is at around 1400 peak, 1100 trough. I figured getting my T level up to 2,000 may help.)
2) Can I add testosterone to my hCG monotherapy? I was thinking about another 100 mgs for 10 weeks.
3) Will my HPTA get shut down if I add testosterone? I would think not. If so, will I need to take a PCT after I come off the testosterone.
4) I assume I will need to take more Adex, as my estradiol will increase from the higher
Test levels. Currently, E2 is at 30, thanks to .25 mgs of adex per day.
I would really like to hasten recovery, to reduce loss of muscles and prevent consequential pain (from my neck injury), and so I can get back to the gym relatively soon. I know I will need to take it slowly. My hope is that these injuries that have plagued me for 22 years will allow me to take my strength and physique to the next level. I look forward to being able to do painfree pullups, in addition to several other movements that I recovery slowly from, such as heavy flat bench.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Best,
J
