What brands of HCG are the best? Does it matter, are generics ok?

pmgamer18 believes that there is a huge difference between the different available hCGs, although, from a technical standpoint, they should all be the same.

I use a generic and I don't have any testicular atrophy. Haven't tried anything else.

My Dr. told me that he has men on the brand that did not work for me the name is APP. But as a first time user I would advise you to not use the generic brand hell it is only $45 to $50 not that much money. Once you know how you feel on it then to save money try the generic. I am doing good on Novarel. Some one here said it is a generic but my Dr. says no it is not a generic.

All I can say is that Caremark, which is a big drug insurance company like Medco, considers Novarel to be a generic. The 'R' next to the name means 'registered trademark', not 'non-generic'.

How long does one vial last?

1 ampule is typically 5000iu, which would be 10 weeks +/-, if you're on 2 shots/week @ 250iu. The stuff is good in the fridge for at least 30 days, some guys say 60+ and it's still strong.

The amps usually are 1,500 IU and come with sterile water rather than bac water.

The vials are usually 10,000 IU.

I use generic hCG.

I believe you but there must be some way to tell for sure. My Drug store said the 'R' means not a generic WTF does every one have there head on backwards. Anyway I believe you because Medcohealt did not charge me more money.

Is anyone using the APP brand of HCG and is it working for you?

I use APP brand and its working for me. 10,000 IU vial and I follow Swales dosing advice. I see an increase in oily skin, followed by a little acne but B5 takes care of it for me.

Years ago when I was using AS I would use a brand of HCG that worked better then any other HCG I have ever found and I have tried many.
I can't remember the name of it but it came in a bottle different from all the rest the bottle looked like a hour glass with the water on one side and the HCG on the other with a rubber cork stopper dividing it and a rubber like button on one end you would push the button on the end and the water and HCG would mix

No other HCG has come close to working as good for me for post AS therapy
When ever I took it my libido would always go thru the roof and energy levels went sky high
For some reason no other HCG came close worked like that for me

Anyone have a idea what brand it was ?

This is the weirdest thing.

I recently switched from Novarel to APP because the APP has an expiry of 60 days after reconstitution and Novarel is only 30 days. I inject 100iu of HCG every day.

Well, it has been 6 days since I started the APP and it is simply not giving me the same reaction as the Novarel. When I open a new vial of Novarel and inject, my testes swell up pretty soon after the shot. After 6 days of using APP, I have still not experienced the swelling in the testes I did on Novarel. It is almost the same as if I am injecting plain water.

The Novarel works well for the 30 days as stated, and no more.
