HCG Dosage Question

Hi everyone,

I have a bottle of HCG that is 10,000 USP units and had 10 ml Bacteriostatic water mixed with it. I am using a 1 cc insulin syringe and am trying to figure out where to pull the syringe back to get 250 IU's of HCG. The syringe is labeled from 0-100. Please someone help as I need the shot tonight badly!

Draw it back to 25 or half way between the 20 and 30 mark.

Exactly! A 10,000iu vial of HCG mixed with 10cc's of bacto water makes 1,000iu per cc. Half would be 500iu and one quarter would be 250iu.

.25 = 1/4cc = 250iu
.50 = 1/2cc = 500iu
.75 = 3/4cc = 750iu
1.0 = 1cc = 1000iu

I have wondered about this. Is it a insulin syringe that is marked 0 to 100 for units? Or is it 0 to 100% of 1CC(mL)? Same thing?

100 units on insuline syringe = 1cc=1mL

There are three (volume) sizes of insuline syringe.
1mL
0.5mL
3/10mL

Units marked on any of the syringe are of the same volume

1mL syringe have 100 units
0.5mL syringe have 50 units
3/10mL syringe have 30 units

31Ga 5/16" long needle 3/10 insuline syringe
I do T shot one day

Thank for the info. Basically an unit is 0.01mL or cc.

0.01mL=0.01cc
Volume at line#1= total volume of sryinge/ total 3 of lines
volume at line#n= line number*volume at line 1
the rest is just algebra
