Yes you can.

It is prescribed for secondary hypogonadism for males, and is also on the PBS for that condition. It is also prescribed for fertility issues.

Hey, this is good to know. I spoke with my Doc a couple of days ago, and he said he couldn't prescribe it. He has even offered to contact the TGA to ask for special permission. Can you point me to any info that I can give him to let him know, so that he doesn't have to go through that?

Sounds like bullshit to me, I contacted the TGA after my doctor told me he couldnt prescribe T, and they said that doctors could, the only prescribable substance I know of wich GPs cant prescribe is Dexedrine, Adderall and other amphetamines like methamphetamine tablets because its highly abusable.

Yea you were the one who told me he was talking shit, contacted the TGA and turns out you were right.
Now I got endos telling me they wanna discontinue my medication cause I told them I had itchy nipples and requested nolvadex, now there excuse is that they dont want to run the risk of breast cancer and also cause they wernt that keen on starting me on it in the 1st place, I got an apointment on monday I am gonna request a blood test wich I will get when I feel as though I have crashed, hopefully should come back really low enough for the doctors to put me back on.

Of course I was right.
Been telling some of these silly dr's for a decade, educating them about HH.
Pls like us can educate them in so many ways, but they need to listen.
Anyway, I did get breast lumps, but nothing more than seen in a pubertal male, and when HH was under control, the lumps just went away.
My GP actually stated that he sees boys with breast lumps because od worried mums, and it aways turns aout to be apart of puberty, that resolves itself

I wonder how many years its gonna be until they realise, and the sad thing is testosterone has been used in medicine for over 50 years.
