Will high doses of DHEA increase T?

Will high than normal doses of DHEA temporarily increase production of Testosterone? I am working on trying to lower my Testosterone range a little lower so my Endo will re-consider treatment.

I was on Androderm, then moved, now have a new Endo and she believes my 354ng/dl Testosterone level (range >245) is just fine for my age.

I am still trying to find somewhere on reputable site that shows what the preferred Testosterone levels should be for typical age groups.

If DHEA does effect Testosterone levels, how long should I wait before discontinueing DHEA before having blood work again?

Whats the best time of the day for blood test to produce lower Testosterone levels?

Will sex before blood tests do anything?

High dose DHEA, according to SWALE will significantly raise your E2.

DHEA will not dramatically increase T. It may bump up Free T slightly, but will more than likely convert to estrogen.

DHEA can also reduce your cortisol levels. Not a good thing. High E2, low cortisol and a total T still near the bottom of the reference range is a recipe for feeling really bad.

In my case with OTC DHEA,DHEA-S was above normal range and T,LH,FSH below.

Will 25mg/day do any harm?? or would that dose be actually beneficial??

Yes it can do harm if you do not know what your current DHEA Sulfate baseline levels are. 25mg gives me acne. 12.5 mg seems to be pefect for me (a 25mg tab broke in half).

I am taking 350mg of DHEA plus 50mg of 7ketoDHEA for better than a year now at this dose.
I got my blood test yesterday, will post complete test latter.
DHEA Sulfate---369ng/dL (280-640) LEFrange(500-640)
In April 2005 my DHEA 118
I do not see any acne, wonder what else I should look for.
Wonder why with such a massive supplementation I did not raise it any higher.

It probably has to do with when you took your last dose. I am sure your levels peak at much higher than what your blood test show.

That I know, but I am afraid whoever want to read that must have to have Excel installed on computer.
Is there a way to format a text so it would show as a table within message body.
I know that this is possible on some other boards, I just cannot figure out this one.

Or, I can capture the screen with a table and save as a picture on my computer.
How to proceed to post that picture within message?
