Good Question in the 22 yrs. that I have had Low T I have had sore joints and muscles when my levels would go down. I was at one time getting a lot of bladder infections and I would tell my Dr. that my joints and muscle were sore he not my Dr. today would say it is the infection yet after the infection was gone I would stay sore for 8 to 12 weeks. The Dr. I see now been seeing him for 10 yrs. told me it is not the infection but my T levels going down from the stress of the infection. So if your T is going down or not high enough you doing have enough to keep your joints and muscles healthy. I also had this problem on the Gels they did not get the T to my joints and muscles so areas that were an old injury or have Arthritis were so bad I was house bound on the gels. Going on the shots and adding HCG witch got my T levels up high enough I am now pain free.

Anecdotally one of the espoused reasons for athletes using steroids is the idea of preventing injuries, and if injured, more rapid recovery.
