Default hrt and society

i noticed something about society........... all of the doctors have their patients spooked about hrt........... i'm working in a supplement shop for the summer and i have had 3 people come in so far trying to buy things to lvl out there hormonal system after doctors told them to off of hrt because it was dangerous............... and they expect a miricale drug to magically fix everything........... i had one lady's choles shoot way up after getting off of it and wanted everything under the sun to bring it back down....... she said she felt great on it but her doc told her to get off because it would screw up her health and give her cancer.......i mean seriously........this medical system is so uninformed and screwed up and wants to keep u sick........... ok i got that off my chest ......... DIE DOCTORS DIE......... i'm seriously thinking about going to med school for endo instead of finishing out my chemcial engineering degree..............

I've been trying to convince my parents to help me finance my little venture with HRT. They don't understand why it is I don't like the endos with my insurance and why I think they're incompetent.

They're slowly coming around though. "30 days" set me back a bit though.

guys, don't be so down on the docs and parents. Keep posting you're locations and we'll eventually find someone or perhaps you'll take "the journey". Without being disrespectful, have you asked your parents how they are doing hormonally? Let them know the signs and symtoms you experience and ask what they would do with similar signs and symptoms. This is a gross generalization but you might find a better blend of alternative and alliopatic medicine from DO's than MD's. NMD's are of course already into bioidentical HRT. Never be afraid to ask about a physican's orientation before agreeing to an appointment.

Just for the record, I'm still struggling to convince my father about the value of HRT. He's 90 and just won't budge.

I'm almost certain my father has low test like I do. He's supposed to get some bloodwork done at his next physical. He's tired a lot, he appears to be depressed, small little man but carries a lot of bodyfat on him, and even back in his teen years when he ran cross country and track in college he was really soft looking (or so I'm told).

Plus I figure since I don't have any disorders (kleinfelters for example) and I have no pituitary tumors, there has to be a reason I have low test at 19.
