I have been doing a lot of searching and have found at least 2 individuals that stopped dooing TRT and wanted to kickstart their systems. With the assumption of a low dose TRT not a small constant cycle why would someone do this if they didn't produce test at the proper levels in the first place? Is it common for someone to quit TRT and try to go natural again? |

If they weren't producing enough test in the first place, what makes people think they will suddenly start producing test once they go off TRT? Although TRT is most definitely an unpredictable roller coaster, especially when it comes to libido, I would never go back to the state I was in before. |

Guys that try to restart their HPTA, are often those who became hypogonadal after AAS use. Therefore they are trying to get their HTPA back to its previously functioning state. TRT can be a roller coaster, always trying to tweak it, swinging between good & bad days/weeks etc. So it's more attractive to let the body do it itself if it's able. |

I have been on TRT for over 24yrs. I have stopped only to go back down to 120 for TT and this is hell.

Do good blood and urine tests first, post #41 Jan's BloodTest April13/2007 - Page 2 Make corrections not only to T&E2 make corrections to anything that you are able to influence (positively). Another words, yes do TRT, but do not limit your self just to TRT. There is a whole wide world of testing of blood, urine, saliva, hairs. use them to your advantage, do not abuse it (forget the law forbiding some of it, it is not beneficial for you). Good luck. |

I am headed for 5 now, and would only go back if the steroid police force the issue... and then I will try out of maket as best I can. The sentiments here are good and accurate. It is a game of sorts and it is something one is always playing with. I wish I was like Phil and a few others here who can feel the ratios getting out of wack. I can't. I am down now to bloods every year and pretty constant on the T, and the cortisol and the DA potentiators/agonists. It takes a while and keep an open mind to all that is available as to info and substanes. With what I know now, I am 50... and for a 3 day stretch I can be 17 again. I just have never figured out a way to stay there constantly. Perhaps 4-5 out of 7 days. There are valleys and peaks on mood and libido, but those are not T driven. They are chemical and hard to tweak from that regard. I think the next and last piece of the puzzle for me is hGH, and how to bring about natural secretion. Head Doc has some stuff here worth reading recently. I do believe that this may be the way to bring about as close to the fountain of youth as we will ever get when combined with all the other adjunctives ( above). |

Not me. My regret is how blind doctors are to hormonal deficiencies. I say with great bitterness that growing up with hypogonadsim and adrenal insufficiency has ruined my life in ways that men who become deficient later in life will never appreciate. I would not wish my life on anyone. Save for the doctors who turned a blind eye to how abnormal I was at age 16. or declared my bloodwork "normal". I now have an appetite for both food and sex that was unknown to me all of my life. I am also able to exercise a few times a week without making myself sick. Just for fun, I am even growing in a beard. I think Andrew said women love that look. Anything for me to not look like I am only 12 years old. I am 35. Started treating myself 2 years ago because doctors refused to do the right thing and I do not have the money to fly to see Dr. John and Marianco.
