ichy dry flaking scalp and hair falling out

on 20mgs of prop eod. my scalp iches and when i scratch it white flakes and hair fall out! alot. anybody else?

it literally just comes out while scratching? I always had dry, itchy scalp, and some medicated shampoos helped, but hair never came out. It's odd, my hair is so much thinner and receeding, but i NEVER noticed any hairs on my pillow or the shower drain. Where did it all go?! When i got prescribed propecia years ago, i asked the dermatoligist if there was any correlation to dry scalp and hair loss, and he said no.

Did you have low T before taking Propecia ? Are You taking Propecia now while on TRT ? If so, does it help with hair loss

I am on Propecia while on TRT and it DOES work. But I am so far gone I need transplants. IMHO I feel a 5AR should always be considered while on TRT esp in men over 40. Keep hair and help protect the prostate. Just an opinion guys!

I think hypothyroid will give you that too.
My girlfriend has a slow thyroid and her hair was falling out.
Maybe you should have that checked out?
