Labs in Scottland

I live in Australia, but im asking this on behalf of somone else. Can you get blood work done in Scottland if you pay for it yourself? My freind is having trouble convincing the doc that his low T problem is worthy of TRT and needs to get labs done to moniter E and stuff but cant get a doctor to give him the labs he wants. Can he do it himself somehow if he pays for it? Is there any way around this?

It can be done, although he can get a Testosterone test etc n the NHS in fact I think he can demand it. If not he can go to a private doctor clinic such as GP plus (google it) in Edinburgh or Glasgow, they can take the blood and they send it to TDL Doctors Laboritory in London, they can do the whole lot, I use that system, its about £70 to take the blood and about depending which tests he wants it costs about £30-£100 per test.
If he need any help in Scotland ask him to post again and I will help him with what I can,I have been through it all.
