LEF Denounces Cypionate, Enanthate, Propionate

The fact that testosterone is marketed as a "drug" does not mean it is not the same natural hormone your prody produced. Scientists learned decades ago how to make the identical testosterone that your body produces but since natural tesotsterone could not be patented, drug companies developed all kinds of synthetic teststerone analogs that could be patented and approved by the FDA as new drugs.

Alternative physicians usually prescirbe testosterone creams and other types made at compounding pharmacies," (good) "whereas conventional doctors are more likely to prescribe a box of ready-made, FDA-approved testosterone patches." (bad)

Any thoughts? I'm not sure how much to trust information from LEF, but I've seen them quoted heavily around here.

Shows how much dis- and misinformation there is out there about TRT. Any exogenous T is synthetic. Moreover, any transdermal T, whether it's patches from big pharma or a compounded cream is the exact same molecule. It is true that transdermal T is supposed to be virtually identical to endogenous T, while T cypionate and enanthate have been esterified, but I would credit SWALE's view over information from LEF. SWALE has previously said that esterification of the testosterone molecule with a cypionate group improves its pharmacodymanics without any signficant adverse consequences.

I agree with the above, except that all T products are a "bio-identical" testosterone molecules. Some have had an ester attached, but other than that, they are exactly the same as that produced by your own body.

The effect is EXACTLY the same.

I have noticed that some of the writers at LEF are not very knowledgeable, to be perfectly honest.
