Default Long term effects of higher dosed TRT?

My endo wants to start me out on 300mg ever 3 weeks. I want to do 100mg a week...Still fighting with her over this.

I was thinking about running 200-250mg a week for 6mo to a year to rebuild all the mass I had lost.

Would there be any harmful effects short term and long term with running dosages at that range for a year?

TIA

It's all in the blood work. You have to take a statin if cholesterol builds up. Watch your
blood pressue, take medication if necessary. Make sure all is in range. It's a must.
Good Luck

Show your Dr. this link the AACE Guildlines on page 11 it startes to do shots every 7 to 10 days.

In the following link it states for men on TRT to get there levels up into the upper 1/3 of there labs range for both TT and FT for a young man. And to keep E2 down between 10 to 30 for any age man.
http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_h...n_therapy.html

You can't just think that doing dam high doses of T will get you back faster it dose not work that way. You need to start low lke 100mgs shots everyweek then test in 4 weeks if not up into the upper 1/3 of the labs range then up the dose to 125mgs and so on. Once you get leveled then you need to give your body time to undo the damage done by yrs. of low T. This is a slow process that can take over a yr. If you push your body with very high dose's of T it will go into stress trying to get your levels down to what your body feels is normal.

Also a lot of us need to know why we are so low so before going on TRT test everything for a list of tests needed go to www.allthingsmale.com and read TRT: A Recipe for Success in this are tests you need and why. Lets say you find out you have low cortisol levels and your thyroid is bad treating this and getting them fixed will bring your T levesl back up. Also are you Primary or Secondary you need to know this. Some men that are older find they have high E2 levels and low T getting the E2 down brings the T levels back up so they don't need to go on TRT.
