| Compounding Chemist and Pharmacy - Dr Michael Serafin is the best doc I've encountered in Aus by far and away. You can do phone appointments too. However he is not a GP, he's a professor 'doctor'. He knows all this adrenal, thyroid, testosterone stuff inside out and was really great doing a phone convo with him. He'll also tell you what labs to have done and then write a report on what course of medicines to use. You can give this report to your GP and hopefully they will be co-operative. Worked for me. |

Thanks Eeso I was looking at his website and what really concerns me is the fact that he reccommends saliva tests to check the hormones when virtually every other expert ie Dr Chrysler , Shippen etc say that the saliva tests with the exception of cortisal are a total waste of time when it comes to cheking homonal levels any thoughts on this mate |

Hey mate, Make sure you sign up and log in then you can see the full articles. It's all free but you need to sign up. His report for me didn't say anything about saliva tests so I don't think he has an issue either way. I used saliva testing for adrenals and blood for testosterone and thyroid. |
