Motherfucking hypogonadism.

Hey guys.

Finally have some good news.

My usual GP has CONFIRMED my case of secondary hypogonadism. He has already written me a script to get a brain MRI done as well as see an oesteopath to check to see if I have any problems with my bones.

This week, I will see an andropause GP and he will assuredly start me up on TRT. I also have the opportunity to see the best endo in Canada (Dr. Roland Tremblay... he invented the bioavailable testosterone test) but I cannot see him until late august.

Here is my most recent set of blood test results. This is the first time I have results for free test and SHBG. What does low SHBG mean??? These just came in yesterday. I think it's amazing that I'm not having libido/ED problems and am able to gain LBM with these levels. The brain fog and fatigue are EXCRUTIATING though.

I already started up on hydrocortisone today. I have a 6 month supply sitting in my closet.

SHBG: 13 12-46

FREE TEST: 218,0 223,0 - 915,0

BIOAVAILABLE TEST: 4,5 4,6-18,8

This is dam good news that you will get treatment finely. When you post labs put the units in so we can convert them to what owr labs use in the US.

Low SHBG is a rather big abstacle.

Wouldn't it be a bigger problem if it was high?

To convert just divide by 0.035

so it comes to this:

TOTAL TESTOSTERONE: 194 285-857 nmol/L

SHBG: 371 342-1314

FREE TEST: 218,0 223,0 - 915,0

BIOAVAILABLE TEST: 128 131-537

I am not sure what conversions you have done.

Going back to your previous post

SHBG: 13 12-46

You really do not want to be much below 20 and much over 30.

There is a thread by James xxx on people with low SHBG, lots of problems.

Do not take anything that lowers SHBG

Do not make yout TotalT overly high, it lowers your SHBG
Do not make your E overly low, it lowers SHBG
Some supplements lower SHBG, watch out for them.
