I have no sex drive, gyno, smaller penis and have lots of mood swings i have never revealed this information to anyone before and its been really affeccting my life, i dont date or go out anymore, i try to lower my voice and i am constantly aware of my gyno. I am keeping it together but really need help. I used steroids in college and it has stunted my growth, shrunk my penis a lot (had phalloplasty surgery), made my voice higher, and gyno--not much but definitely all girls notice and its been growing the past two years. In college I did one or two serious cycles of dyanabol or whatever the strong one is, and used clomid post cycle but wasnt very smart about it. Naive i think, i feel so stupid for stunting my growth. I didnt complete my arm hair growth either and i think the steroids closed off my growth bone plates. I used over the counter testosterone boosters as well off and on for years too but did not cycle properly which is what caused the problems. The past couple years i stopped any natural/over the counter testosterone boosters, but i have been depressed so much lately and i think its my hormones--i am doing well in business but i cant even look at a girl and im 25 i should be dating! i also cannot lose weight easily bc my estrogen level is so high, not very fat but i am definitely eating well and working out a lot. Last week i decidd to go to the endocrinologist here in Bangkok, Thaialnd he said i dont have anabolic induced hypogonadism but i had low testosterone but wouldnt put me on TRT since it would lower my sperm. I mentioned the clomid and nolvadex to lower my estrogen levels and he wouldnt do that either. This is my main concern. Hes totally by the book even with 10 years experience and only suggested gyno surgery told me come back in 6 months. I want to go to see another endo and thought this forum could give some good advice Here are the tests, They are not the usual measurements DHEA-S 414.4 ug/dl Free T4 1.27 ng/dl TSH 2.21 uU/ml Estradiol 54.5 pg/ml LH 5.7 mlU/ml Prolactin 10.9 ng/ml Cortisol 7.1 ug/dl Total Testosterone 552 ng/dl SHBG 26.2 nmol/l albumin 51 gm/l free androgen index 73 Free Testosterone (cFT) 120 pg/ml %Free Testosterone cFT 2.17% Bioavailable Testosterone 330 ng/dl %Bioavailable Testosterone 60% Creatine (Blood) 1.3 mg/dl Potassium (Blood) 4.1 mmol/l Can I lower my voice with any trt therapy? I found this article on lowering voice http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=772148 Is trt a safe option? Has anyone gotten surgery for their gyno How do I increase my sex drive again? Do I have to be on supplements for the rest of my life? What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Xerxes |

I was gonna say you know roids dont actually shrink your man parts right?? Blame that one on jesus. ~BFA~

Thryoid can cause the shrinkage though. It's possible you messed up your hormone balance by using the roids and getting high E2 which would downregulate thyroid. Low thyroid hormone will cause shrinkage but not actually effect man-size ![]() Man-size is determined by high levels of DHT at puberty i believe.

Get better longer blood test that I often post here. From what you have posted already it looks like you have to lower your E2 and that possibly all. Get this LiquiDex, better, easier to use than Arimidex: http://www.ag-guys.com/store/product...=16135&cat=248 Make sure you get FreeT3 |

You need to post the reference ranges for your blood tests, so can tell more. As mentioned above your E2 is high, you can use arimidex to lower that, it is available over the counter in bkk, so you shouldn't have any problems getting it. Your Testosterone levels are not bad, and may even go up a bit, when you lower your E2. You should also test your thyroid as TSH seems a little high. Get Free T3, Free T4. |

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it..Sounds like I need to get the ranges so we can better interpret the results I'll look for arimidex to lower my estrogen.Liquidex seems good, everyone here recommends that? |

No worries. When these tests were taken on the 18th of June I had been taking natural testosterone boosters for two months prior but stopped a coupple weeks before the test. The doctor and I agreed this may affect the level of testosterone but since i had stopped for a couple weeks i thought it would be ok. This doctor just sent me on my way and said everything was in my head. Though I told I have no sex drive, no libido. I think TRT would fix this but I dont want to become sterile. But anyway, I dont have any blood tests before i started taking steroids. I am going in to have my blood checked today and i will get t3 and thyroid tests. Maybe I should get the same tests done over again, but its a little expensive. The first blood tests I had were $250. |

Estradiol is too high. Cortisol is TOTAL cortisol. You might still have adrenalin fatigue even though the total is ok, if the binding globulines are too high. Saliva cortisol would tell free cortisol level. And FINALLY the MOST important. You albumin IS HIGH. Albumin binds T4, cortisol and testosterone (among others), so too high albumin affects everything. http://www.sydpath.stvincents.com.au/tests/Albumin.htm "High albumin concentrations in plasma Elevated concentrations of albumin in plasma are caused by a relative loss of water. This occurs in dehydration, or with prolonged use of a tourniquet. There are no pathological conditions other than dehydration associated with a high albumin concentration. Note however that elevated albumin may indicate artefactual elevation of other analytes such as haemoglobin, lipids and calcium." and elsewhere "Certain drugs increase albumin in your blood, including anabolic steroids, androgens, growth hormones, and insulin." I'd really start by checking WHY albumin is high. Are you severely dehydrated? Do you use some chemicals that could raise it? Perhaps test albumin again to see that it is not a measurement error. If still high, this might be the first thing to solve. Then again, it is not THAT high. Estradiol affects binding of other things (cortisol, thyroxine) too, so getting estradiol down would help, as well. Arimidex is the way. |

Albumun, prolactin, E2, possibly (FreeT3) need attention. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Your Prolactin 10.9 ng/ml Range 2-15 ng/mL Dr Shippen likes it to be around 3.0, but rework your units Prolactin (2.0-18.0) mg/mL Shippen 3.0 you are high any way ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ albumin 51 gm/l that is high, work on it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Estradiol 54.5 pg/ml Range: <50pg/ml wrong test, should be "sensitive" (LabCorp) ot "ultra sensitive" (Quest) You are still high There is a tonn of other estrogens that could do you in if you want do this set at Quest: Progesterone Pregnenolone Estradiol, Bioavailable Estradiol, Free Estradiol, Fractionated, serum Estradiol, Ultra-sensitive (is part of fractionated) Estrone, serum (is part of fractionated) Estrogens, Total, Serum ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free T4 1.27 ng/dl Range: 5-12 mg/dL Get FreeT3 if low use enough Armour Thyroid to bring it to the top of the range (almost) then if FreeT4 is still low, add Syntroid to raise it up to the middle of range Carefull when ramping up on Armour thyroid, monitor body temperature & pulse, have Cortef or at least Isocort at hand. You may uncover problems with adrenals then stop Armour and deal with Adrenals first. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
