My appointment with Marianco is Aug. 3. I've always had secondary hypogonadism and ADHD and now I strongly suspect I have Adrenal Fatigue and Hypothyroidism. I've been on TRT and Adderall for 12 years, but it was only within the last year that I've been using HCG and Arimidex. I am uninsured, so my budget is limited. However, I live in Miami, so I plan on getting my lab work at Life Extension Foundation, which is based in South Florida. Below I listed some tests that I plan on getting. Are there anymore tests I should get done? Here is the list of tests available through LEF. http://www.lef.org/newshop/cgi-shop/...gi?catid=23000 Cholesterol (HDL/LDL) Cortisol DHT DHEA sulfate Estradiol FSH LH Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) Pregnenolone Progesterone Prolactin PSA SHBG Testosterone (Total) Testosterone (Bioavailable) Testosterone (Free) Thyroid Panel |

I know 3 men that went to see him and from what I see he wants to see you first then order tests so you should hold off on this. Also some of the guys at STTM have found better deals the LEF. Here is a cut and paste of his post to me. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually the reason it was cheaper is that I used healthcheckusa, so it was the person from healthcheck that faxed the lab(labcorp) my test order. Healthcheck used their doctor to request the order and they billed me directly. They told me what to say if the lab questioned anything. So in other words healthcheck is a company that acts as a go-between between the patient and the lab. You can order blood work from their healthcheckusa.com website, but I found it much better to speak to them on the phone and go from there. When I ordered a test online it took two weeks to receive the paperwork, which I would then take to the lab closest to me(there are many all over the country). When I called on the phone to change what tests I wanted the lady was very helpful and I said I needed to do this in the most effective, efficient way possible which would be the cheapest price possible. For example, vitamin B12 was like 140 dollars by itself so I got the nutrition panel which included many other things and also B12 for 85 dollars. This is all part of the madness involved with labs and drugs and medical costs. Obviously if you can get a whole nutrition panel for 85 how can one vitamin be 140? So you really have to educate yourself and be assertive and ask questions and let them know you need the cheapest way to go. Also many tests available are not shown online at the website. But I learned a lot by looking at everything online first before I spoke to the lady on the phone. That is how I knew I did not have to pay 140 for B12. Also with healthcheckusa you get a ten percent discount automatically if you type in 12345 in the discount code online. I also received this discount on the phone.
