Default nice study on TRT

Hi guys,
For the ones interested: here is a nice evaluation on TRT (for the elderly) made by a knowlegeable professor from the university of Ghent, Belgium. There are some good points in it, but I have also read some things I cannot agree with. Just sharing a bit of information here, I hope it is interesting for some of you...

interesting read. It certainly emphasis the need to focus on free or bioavailable testosteone. I wonder why this topic gets so much attention from the medical community in Belgium?

Very good read. I notice the difference in the agenda of European doctors vs American doctors. In Europe, they recognize the importance of adequate hormonal levels to reduce disability and disease in elderly men. In America, TRT is constantly doubted and discouraged because it is perceived to increase the incidence of prostate cancer. My only complaint is the use of injections every two weeks instead of once a week.

Correct. But then again, the study dates back a few years. Nonetheless, this is a good study to show to a beginning doctor.... It has value as a basic information document...
