Default For people who have gone to see Dr. Crisler

If you tried to get your insurance to pay for your perscriptions, office visit or labs did they pay for them? Which ones did they pay for?
Thanks

They will pay for prescriptions that are on your "preferred drug list". HCG, for example, will not be reimbursed if your insurance doesn't cover fertility meds because they are too ignorant to know that it can be used for hypogonadism (it even says so in the hcg information insert). They probably will pay for Androgel, but not injectible T, because they are stupid.

Good luck.

Mine prescription plan pays for Androgel (and I think Cortef, not sure)
but does not pay for
HCG
Armour
Depo-T

I did not tried to get reimbursed from my insure which is Medicare.
Is here any body with Medicare experience?

Remind me in a few weeks and I will let you know. I have submitted to BSBS for the T. It was rejected due to lack of an NDC number which was present in two locations in my form.

HCG was called into walgreens and was covered. The visits I am awaiting on.

I have Premera BCBS out of WA state.
