My wife's friend has been complaining about her husband's early ejaculation. Has anyone here had any experience or heard about anything to help with this? I've done some Google searches but haven't found a hell of a lot to give any good advice with.

My thyroid is fine. I`ve found three drugs that work. Citalopram, tramadol, and hydrocodone. Of course any of the opiates will do the job. Thing is, the dose is critical - too little no effect- too much- takes all the fun out of it if not killing the erection alltogether. Just right and go for hours. A little Viagra helps counteract the erection killer effect. Plus, it fun to experiment with. Celebrex tends to weaken the libido. Everything has a price. Citalopram is actually indicated in cases of PE.

5-htp huh? Ill look into that. In my case PE is simply hypersensitivity. The erection is strong- and with a hair trigger. Maybe I`m atypical. I have brisk reflexes eyerywhere. Can get the knee jerk be tapping the TOP of the thigh. Quote:

I know this sounds crazy, but have him try some zoloft. I went to my GP a few years ago and we were going over my history of lower back pain, so he mentioned I should try zoloft. I told him he was nuts, how was zoloft gonna help with back pain? His mouth moved for a while, and he said some stuff i didnt get....but basically I said "fine, I'll try it" just to shut him up. Well, that stuff works! but Weatherlite, more to your friends point it also made it damn near impossible for me to have an orgasm. No prob with wood, but apparently it kind of numbs your whole body just a little, and since I have never had a prob with PE it was kinda rough on the wife there for a while. I finally started taking 1/2 the recommended dose and that seems to get me to a place both she and i can live with I dont take it all the time, just when my back flares up (...or when i know me and the wife are going to get particularly freakish and i want a lil "insurance") but it seems like an easy script to get and it just might fix his issue. I found this out completely by accident, I hope it helps. Jmills |

a lot of people use ssri's to help with PE because the main side effect is ejaculation problems...most people can ejaculate in the end, but they have to go at it for hrs and had sex for days. i dont know whether its worth taking an ssri though just to take advantage of one of its pitfalls...so many side effects associated-weight gain, nausea, insomnia, vertigo...it also has potential to mess up ure endocrine system, namely lowering t and unbalancing ure thyroid production. |

Thats probably because theyre loaded up on SSRIs like my wife. My current theroy is tht the serationin to dopamine ratio is to far toward the S side and that can be fixed with selegiline. We will kno soon. I usually use opiates for PE. My experience with citalopram is with daily doses. I`ll try 20mg today and see what happens. Quote:
