proviron only?

Ive heard that proviron has been prescribed in Europe as an hrt regimen for aging males, just wonder if any of the guys here have tried it as a standalone long term solution, and what there thoughts and experiences on it were.

There are studies that show that it is not suppressive, and it has been said to increase libido in many. Are legal reasons in the U.S. the main reason it is not talked about more?

Thought this advertising write up I found on a German website was kind of interesting:

It's nice in theory, but it doesn't work as "advertised." I have yet to hear of anyone who has had this leigitimately help their libido or make them feel yonger.

Plus, I tried it myself, and it had none of those benefits. Moreover, it raises DHT very high and if you are prone to MBP it will make you lose your hair. I don't see that contributing to well-being, self-confindence, or libido, do you?!

I experimented with Proviron, but not as standalone treatment. I was taking Test, HCG and Arimidex.

I never got the raging libido that I heard other people talk about on this website. It may have contributed to my BPH, but I'm not sure because I've had BPH before. It just felt as if on the proviron, it was a different type of BPH. Hard to explain.

I do think it helped me retain less water because I appeared less bloated while taking it. I am planning on buying another order soon for this reason alone.

arimidex doesn't resolve your bloating? I have arimidex coming and hope to stop my bloating with it (high estrogen symptom). My regimine is 100 cyp, 250iu hcg x2, and its definitely made me bloated. I bought some proviron awhile back before seeking medical help in an effort to self treat, and it did absolutely nothing. The amount of fake gear out now days makes me sick:-/

That is kind of why I thought about revisiting this drug. I have tried it a number of times, but I was always on test or some other drugs, and it was not consistent in any benefits, but that may have something to do with the fact I was on testosterone, which may have been messing up libido.

A good source is important, otherwise you may not even be getting real proviron. That is why I was hoping to hear some feedback from some Europeans that may be prescribing this or having this prescribed.

Might try this again now that I am completely drug free. Libido is ok now, just ok, but I have a psychological need to be better. A friend that is 31 managed to hook up with a new girl last night, and had sex with her a few times in a few hours, this is the kind of performance ability I need to have at my disposal when opportunity arises. Just because I am in my 40's is not reason enough for me to accept not trying to be better.

drugs like cialis and viagra can help a little, but you really need the underlying strong libido for them to work to be able to achieve multiple sessions in a short period of time

The side effects of cialis and viagra also tend to take away the desire, when your nose is stuffy and you have a dull headache you often don't feel that great

Here's some feed back from Europe.
I've been on Proviron for about 4 months. For me it's a lifesaver. My TRT with Nebido sucks but Proviron fixes it great. 50mg per day. Libido is thru the roof. Only problerm is that it's not sold here in Finland either so I have to get some special licence to by it thru the pharmacy (original Schering).
I recommend it, at least give it a try if you have the opportunity.

Viagra, or Cialis don't need a libido when you take the pill you have to work it to get it up this is how the med works. If you take Cialis 10 to 20 mgs. every 72 hrs. there are no sides and you get it up when you need it don't have to wait for a pill to work.

samppa: great to hear your comments, have you noticed any testicular shrinkage on the proviron? How is your exercise tolerance? Leanness? acne? blood pressure? any side effects? any other comments would be appreciated.
