I was over 90 pg/ml range 13 to 56 pg/ml it took me 2 months to get it down first we tried .5 mgs every other day for 4 weeks this did nothing. So then we did .5mgs everyday and in 4 weeks I came down to 24 pm/ml. In my next 4 weeks test I went to low and had to stop the med for 4 weeks it took me this long to get back up to about 20. This stuff is dam strong and you need to be careful not to go to low it's just as bad as to high.

My Doc didn't test it before HRT. After several weeks of HRT, on .25mgs every 3rd day, my lab results came back with E2 at 15....too low. I will now lay off for a while, although my libido has been fine from the beginning.

If your SHBG is low mine is 20 so 15 is a good number for me. I gauge by my morning wood when to low I stop getting it and this is when I stop taking it. When the morning wood comes back that day I go back on it but do less.

Don't have the figures on hand but it was more than just cople of points above top of the range. 1/2 mg eod knocked it back too far and went below ref range. Changed it 1/4 eod and now solidly in middle range.

Was on 98mg test cyp per week as 28mg IM EOD, 250iu HCG EOD

TT was 1025, FT 36.1, E2-37. With these levels had strong anabolic and androgenic physical responses. But E was killing libido, mood and energy.

1mg/wk of anastrozole changed E2=36-->22, libido came back strong in 7-10 days. Other mental/mood problems improved over 2-3 months. So there are short term and long term changes. Libido would appear to be a great indicator that you are on the right track with a dose. While cell and tissue changes might be fast changing, in the brain, habits of thought and attitude take time to evolve to the the new environment. When things are changing, a positive attitude will help shape the result. Morning wood is a very good indicator of libido change.

Now on 1.22mg/wk looking for E2=17-20 which is thought to be optimal from a libido point of view for many. Will do more lab work this month for E2, thyroid and CBC. Definitely feel the added 0.22mg/wk. Loosing some fat around the belly button. Emotions drier and more analytical... typical for me.
