Results from Home Grown Protocol

I think I've finally found a protocol that works:

hCG 500iu ED + .25mg Arimidex E3D

This has left me relatively functional for the at least the past week, and I've been doing it work about a month and a half. Like pmgamer, I seem to get a rush of a 'well-being' feeling right after I inject the hCG.

Hopefully, this will last.

Dude, Congrats! How is the libido, erection quality, etc.? Do you take T also or are you just doing HCG?

The libido is very good, and erection quality is very good. I wouldn't venture to say that it is as good as a normal person's -- at least now, however, I'm able to enjoy it. I'm still pretty much stuck with the 'once a day' rule.

I would have to say that I went from feeling like I'm 80 to feeling like I'm 50-something.

Aargh. Once I ran out of Propecia, the results stopped. I crashed right back to the way I used to feel - like complete shit.

To all the secondary hypogonadal low-SHBG sufferers out there (maybe 2% of the people on this board) who can't get results or libido from ANY docotor or treatment, I'm begging you, TRY PROPECIA. Whatever it is about finasteride that prevents the production of 5AR also seems to raise your SHBG, which completely solves your problem. (!!!) If people tell you it'll ruin your sex drive, they are wrong. It can run the sex drive of a NORMAL male, but for people like us, it steps in to solve a problem that other treatments can't even come close to solving.

As a standard protocol or for short period?Isn't 500iU ED too much for TRT?

It is my understanding that propecia can damage libido and cause permantly ED in many men. That stuff scares me to death.

It can cause ED in normal, and no -- 500iu is not a huge dose. Read the package insert for the reccomended dose for postpubescent males (adults.) It's between 1,000iu to 4,000iu per week.

Using no more than 500iu of HCG seems to be fine as long as you control the E2 as you are.

Using the propecia is all together different, much akin to playing russian roulette. The dna damage it does is said to be irreversable.

Do you have any references for the dna damage ? I have heard of it causing problems in men, but not dna damage.

I do not have any studies, and actually doubt there are any published since this is another drug from a pharmacuetical giant.

If you do your own google search on propecia you will find plenty of men who have been sexually crippled by this drug.
