| He's charging $279 and 22.50 S/H, so total cost = $300+ for 6 mg. I will be talking w/ him in the next week or two about starting it. I would really like to do a trial. |

one sign that the body has declining GH levels is thinning lips. I noticed this week that my lips has thinned. This has no personal significance for me--just as noted--my GH levels have declined since I stopped taking GH and the dose of sermorelin has not caught up to where I was.

My IGF-1 levels = 130(126 - 350) I still have thick lips, probably due to the fact that even with shit GH levels, Im still young. However, I have a very, very hard time recovering from workouts, and Im generally stiff all the time. In the morning, all my joints and my back is very stiff and painfull. Im assuming 6mg is a normal months dose. Dam, thats expensive. 300 bucks. Insurance cover any of it? Is it suppressive in any way? I think I would like to give it a TRIAL run and see how it goes, maybe 3 months. If I notice only mild to moderate imporvements, then I could stop. But if Im blown away by it, maybe it would be worth the money. You know, weigh out the costs versus benefits. |

| Very true. Yoga and tai chi work wonders for morning stiffness and they cost a lot less than sermorelin. I have a book of joint mobility exercises from Pavel Tsatsouline that have a remarkable effect when done regularly. Last edited by cpeil2; 10-20-2007 at 08:54 PM. | I've been doing yoga, in addition to weightlifting, for 3+ years. It does help with stiffness. recently adding some pilates--all interesting stuff.

While any physican could prescribe the dermorelin, not all would be familiar with it. I sent two or three articles on the medication before my visit with the doc. He had made inquiries of his own once he received the material. Unless there was more data to indicate hormonal problems, I don't think that one value, given your age, would be enough to warrant a script. The value itself is not so low. My IGF-1 was 80 when I started HGH.

I was 58 and my last IGF-1 was 275 while on HGH. I have another month or so before the next labs and while on sermorelin.
