Here's some information on an earlier thread. Sermerelon is cutting edge. I will add more sitations as needed to this thread. http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/mens-...ght=sermorelin I was contacted by one of my former antiaging docs. He is putting all of his HGH patients on sermorelin.

What are the costs for getting a doctor, having him put you on anti-aging hormones and for the precription itself...Cutting edge. How much cash would I have to come up with to go on for 18 months or so? |

just got the scripts for the med and an 8 week follow up for labs. I'll be starting soon and posting as get anything worth sharing. I have been on HGH for some 3 years. My doc is as interesting as I am to see what my old pituitary will produce. My IGF-1 was 80 when I started the GH. With the compounded GH, the IGF-1 has ranged from 275 to 325 for most of this time.

Please keep posting updates! I'm hypopituitary - I have empty sella syndrome. It's where my pituitary is squashed and I have a diminished output. Does SERMORELIN increase all pituitary hormones or just hGH? It could be my wonder drug? |

*Update* I finally got in touch with my friend who first got me interested into anti-aging(and who is a co-partner with a Dr and ownder of anti ageing clinic) is currently on week 3 of sermorelin. No prior Gh therapy. He has noted that he is sleeping better and has more energy. He has slept threw his alarm clock on several occasions. Starting IGF levels were 200. His clinic though is having issues. They are particularily not fond of dealing with the oversees makers of sermorelin(chinese). Especially in light of recent situations. FYI they are charging 200 - 400 per month depending upon dose. They are seeing people usually get a 100 - 150 point boost from Sermorelin therapy. Some are running somatropin and sermorelin together. |

I would tend to think the same would be for someone with a non functioning pituitary gland. No gland - no sermorelin response. |

One more note - for those with a healthy pituitary and who are primary, sermorelin might increase other androgenic hormones, like T and various other co factors such as pregnenolone, DHEA, and other androgenic hormones. For those who are secondary, I wonder if sermorelin would be an option at all. Maybe it can jumpstart a broken HTPA? Jury is out. we shall see |

Two weeks in. Ended HGH day before I started Sermorelin. As noted above I am less bloated. This is an effect on the HGH that krept up. I began HRT in May of 2003. It's not easy to cipher which of the effects of the HGH is apart from the rest of the HRT. However, the sleep improvement was the first and most dramatic effect. I hadn't slept so well in years. I had tried a significant number of supplement combinations the prior year to improve sleep with some degree of success. Over the past year, this effect declined. I was on 1.5 IU of HGH for most of the time. I have been back on melatonin (3 mg, sublingual) and magnesium citrate, 500mg HS for several month. Magnesium is an old ally for sleep that I found in trials of ZMA some 4-5 years ago. The warnings about zinc toxicity quickly lead me to decide against long term use of ZMA. The benefit of sermorelin relative to sleep came on within a few days. Now, it's not as dramatic an experience as when I started HGH but is better than what I was getting in the last year of so on HGH. I awake less often during the night and it's easier to fall back to sleep when I do. My current script if for 200mcg of sermorelin HS. I am 6'1" and weigh 244. My calipher BF% is 25. My Tanita scale places me at 30% (the Tanita has always been 5% higher than calipher and water displacement). During my triatholn days, which ended almost ten years ago to the date, I weighed 185-190 with 10-12% BF. Knee surgery in March of 2004 ended my running days. All this to say that I may need to up the dose of sermorelin to match my BF%. I won't do this till after I get the first labs in 6 weeks.

awesome. That is exactly what my friend noted - his sleep was incredible. He said he slept right threw his alarm clocks. Interesting. What are you paying? |
