i was on gel for 4 months and it was great as far as sex , no muscle gains or my levels wont go past 330 ref 220 -1000 , now im on my 6th week of test ent 100mg per week , and im not even in the mood half as much ?

why , i did blood work and my test was over 800 , my e2 was 17 ref 10-50 ?

I think transdermals convert to DHT more than a shot does. DHT is a poor anabolic agent, but the little man needs it in order to function. You might need more T, or it is a good time to start the HCG. Your T levels are stable and E2 is not excessive.

E2 COULD....possibly....be a hair low. Hard to say in someone so new to TRT. Some can tell as the years go by (pmgamer). However, I agree with love_en that it may be your DHT. Gels do tend to drive that up really high which will increase the sex drive. You may not get much from IM. You may want to have that checked as well when you get your next labs.

If the gels rase DHT which is suposed ot lead to better sexual function, then why is it that most people here do better on the shots and show more improvement that way?

They need higher levels of T than the gels can provide. Also, hypogonadism affects more than sexual function. I need the anabolic effect more than high DHT levels.

I don't feel great with my E2 that low my libido starts going down and I find it harder to get it up better between 20 to 30. At the time of your Test your E2 could have been up. E2 if your taking something to keep it down has a small window and is very hard to keep in the zone. I use my morning wood to gauge how my E2 is doing and if I have none in the morning it tells me my E2 went to low.
