Nasty bruise there. You don't aspirate sub-q's. Not too many veins around the belly button. But it does sound like you hit one. Weird, I did hundreds of sub-q's with no bleeding. A couple of bruises but no blood.

I'll get some smaller ones. The 27's are what the pharmacist gave me. I guess after seeing them next to 23g that I use for the Test Cyp, they seemed tiny! Here's the needle next to the 18g mixing needle for HCG that I was given. Seeing that 18g made my hands sweat! ![]() Sonny |

lol.. Actually according to most HCG manufacturers IM is the suggested method of administration due to Absorbtion times.. WRT to folding the skin.. All that means is he pinched a little bit of fat around his belly button and injected into the pinched skin.. that's it..nothing scary. |

I have read the insert for the HCG and it says that injection should be IM. My question is, is there any reason to want a slower absorption from SubQ, or does one want the immediate full effect of the HCG on the testes. http://education.yahoo.com/reference.../figure?id=581 I'm curious to know exactly where you were injecting before as well as now. Hopefully the attached photo is visible. It is the front (anterior) view of the right thigh, in 8 sections. Assuming the sections are as follows relative to the photo, which area where you injecting before and now? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 |

Wildfox, My usual injection site is the upper part of 3, which is medium fatty. I then decided to look for more fatty skin in the middle part of 1, which I found caused a very delayed release ( I tried this twice). Today I decided to go for very thin skin to see what an immediate release would feel like and I injected in the upper part of 5. I felt an almost instantaneous release, felt a little nauseas, felt an immediate swell in the testes. The question is, which is the right way? Do we want a delayed release or an immediate release? |
