Total weekly T calculations

Doing 50 mgs every 3rd days comes out to be way more then 100 mgs a week ? i am trying to figure out 120 mgs a week on every 3 day schedule. comes out to be 25 mgs a day and 175 mgs a week? Am i righ ton this ?

50mg every 3 days would work out to be around 116mg per week.

easier way to think about it LOL 10 shots a month at 500mgs total/30 = 16.7 x 7 days a week = 112 mgs
to get my weekly dosage of 120-125 mgs i will need like 55 mgs a shot

Your math is slightly wrong. 50 mg. every third day works out to 125mg/week. (Trust me, I have a Masters in Chemical Engineering.) If you want to average 120mg/week, you can shoot 48mg. every third day. Is the scale of your needles sensitive enough where you can actually measure out 48 mg. exactly?

You take your weekly (7days) dose and convert it to a daily dose then multiply by number of days between shots.

Weekly dose=120
daily dose=120/7=17.14285714
dose every three days=3*17.14285714=51.42857143
rounding it it is 51 or 52 depending on how close you can get on your syringe.

well i got inuslin pins and 29 gauge works really well for injections
So that be .27 on insulin pin not bad at all !!
depending on e2 if i add in hcg days before the shot i am waiting on lab work..

I do not know the volume of 1mg of your testosterone to say that it is right or not.
Give it to me so I will continue calculation.

It is marked 10,20,30......90,100
I assume that instead ot 0.27 you have really ment 27 on insuline pin.
That would make 0.27ml = 0.27cc volume.

Guys,

Listen - Your math is wrong. I've taken 4 semesters of calculus (including differential equations) and lots of modern math in grad school, so please don't question me on this.

If you take 48 mg. shots every third day for a four week period, you wind up taking 10 shots or 480 mg. in that period. Four weeks is 28 days, NOT 30. 480mg/28 days = 17.143 mg/day. 17.143 X 7 = 120mg/week. Okay??? :-)

We're not talking 3 times a week (120mg/3), we're talking every three days, which is 2 1/3 times per week on average. There will be a 3 week rotation. One week will see 3 shots, the other two will see 2 shots. Suppose your first shot is Sunday. You will shoot

Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday
Tuesday, Friday
Monday, Thursday

Then the cycle repeats. So over those 3 weeks, you want 3*120mg, totalling 360mg, divided over 7 even doses (7 injection days in one 3-week cycle). 360/7 is approximately 51.42, which also happens to be approximately 3*17.143.

There, proved the otherway around.

I took discrete math, calculus (just a year), chemistry, first-order logic, a whole bunch of computer classes, pharmacology, etc. Aced them all. I sure hope my dad didn't waste his money. :-)

Ok, so you have either
100mg/mL
or
200mg/mL
Assume first that you have testosterone that have a strenght of 100mg/ml
you want to have 120mg/week on average, doing shots every three days.
You are using insuline syringe, each mark of 10 equals 0.100ml

120/7*3/100=51.42857143mg per shot
51.42857143/100=0.514285714 mL
on my sirynge there is 0.02 between every two lines
you draw 51 units on isuline syringe

If you have testosterone of 200mg/mL use half of that dose
0.514285714/2=0.257142857 or 0.26
you draw 26 units of this stronger testosterone

Since you have mention before the 0.27 (close enough to 0.26)
I assume that your testosterone have a strenght of 200mg/mL
and your calculations were right.

Can you explain how you get 125mg as I only have a BS in Engineering and a P.E. in just a couple of states?

Here is how I calculate it.

50 mg/3days * 7days = 116.67mg which converts to 117 mg based on significant digits.

I have a question about this. Why not just split the dosage in half and inject on monday and thursdays (or something like that-2 days a week). Would it make that much of a difference.

Looks to me that he calculated just that.

50mg every 3 days gives 50/3 pr. day. Then he multiply it with 7 to get the weekly doses.
