TRT and fertility

I'm 24, was on TRT for 2 - 2.5 years then did a scally restart protocol. Been off meds for 6-8months. My TRT protocol was 125mg test a week + 2 shots of HCG 250iu

Turns out I have empty sella syndrome so my test levels arent gonna get any better. They're around 9-12 or so on a scale of 10-33 depending on how worked or lazy ive been that week, and how much good sleep ive had.

I saw an endocrinologist recently who kept pounding into me that even on test + HCG i could still go sterile. He said it was because HCG only replaces LH and not FSH, and FSH is the one needed for sperm production. He kept citing some study in sydney where people given testosterone resulted in low sperm counts. But they weren't on HCG.

So what's the go? Is talking bull like i suspect?

Why don't we all use HMG as well as HCG whilst on TRT?

good question. HMG should be used it seems, and i have never heard of a single person on it for TRT purposes.

The only thing you can do is have your sperm checked and if good have it frozen to be on the safe side. Going on HCG or Testosterone will shut down your pituitary from sending LH and FSH to your testis how much we are all different some men it's not bad others real bad. This Dr. is out to lunch sayiing HCG makes LH it does not make it it acts like it.
