dr. has me on test prop every 3 days 50mgs (body feels better on prop than cyp) ..so for a few weeks felt great;then right nipple and on side of it got swollen,and actually i was feel the best i had been ..dr. put me on 40 mgs of nolva to bring gyno ;and instantly i lost my libido my balls got tight and i am feeling like crap?>?? anybody have a clue thx

Get blood work done... Nolva might back brought your E2 down too low.

lower than 'heroic' doses of Arimidex or some other anti-E

mrank i hear you and i am not hideing my doeses!! actually the dr. advised eod i went with every 3 and then up to eod to see if anyt difference...even skipped and went every 4...i am just trying to see how to get rid of gyno..and from what i have read nolva is the only effective drug once the swelling has appeared...would it help if i cut back to 1/4 cc from 1/2 cc for a few shots? while doing nolva? thx and mrank you have been a huge help for me for quite some time many thx... 1/4cc EOD (25mg) seems like a more resonable dosage to me.

The AAS guys seem to have better luck with Letro than Arimidex in fighting gyno. But Nolva is the first line of defense.

Has the puffiness reduced since starting the Nolva?

your going to low try the OTC stuff Indolplex/DIM but stop what your taking now untill your sex life comes back then go on the DIM but don't take a whole pill take a half a pill.

I had gyno start when I started cyp shots. Nolv didn't work for me (almost made it worse). Evista worked a little but not very well. Then I tried clomid & it was extremely effective - stopped the gyno & has gotten rid of it completely (including the small pea size lump under one of my nipples).

50mg EOD is probably way too much.

Mere changes in hormone can TEMPORARILY cause "nipple issues". Thus jumping your dose up, or switching it around, can cause this.

I do not see how any drug of the SERM class, such as Nolvadex, can cause the sieds you attribute to same. But anything is possible.

SERM drugs do nt lower E--they merely block it at some tissues. But they act like estrogen at others.

Be advised that you cannot get an estrogen test of any value while on a drug of that class.

Make sure to taper the SERM down slowly.
