trt switching on the hairloss gene?

hey guys, i was wondering whether hairloss associated with elevated dht levels from trt, will arrest when trt is stopped, or dht is taken under control- or is it sadly a case that once hairloss has started the hairloss gene is expressed and hairloss will continue

basically i dont have any family history of hairloss, but i shed a lot on trt (due to very elevated dht). i have now come off trt, but i am concerned that hairloss will continue.

My father lost half of his hair 70.
Around 50 I noted hair loss so I started Rogaine then Proscar (finasteride then Avodart.
On 1pill/day Avodart my DHT-29 ng/dL(30-85) when stopped DHT=226
I am out of Avodart for about a year, hair still ok, I am 67.

I think the hair loss will lessen if you stop the T. T gets converted to DHT. This is what is linked to male opattern baldness. Decrease the DHT and th MPB decreases.

What doseage Advodart were you taking to lower your DHT from 226 to 29 n?
