Default Trying to combat Primary Hypogonadism in need of some advice

Hello, I've been on Androgel for the last four months and only experienced morning "wood", decrease in emotional difficulties, increase in weight gain, and a bit of anxiety. I haven't experienced better concentration, memory, libido, energy, and a sense of an improved well being.

I've been researching and reading (your informative words are appreciated) other add-on ways to combat primary hypogonadism. I would like to display a plan toward my Endocrinologist thru remarks from this forum along with my research. I read, "a recipe for success", along with "HCG updated".

I take 5 grams of Androgel.

I want to improve to 7.5 grams for starters, and if that fails 10 grams.

(Sept. blood work: total testosterone: 193 free testosterone: 1.8 free testosterone: 35.1)

I want to add HCG.

I do not know what doses is best for a 28 year old male with primary hypogonadism along with testicular failure and a very low sperm count. (does this also create more sperm, or solely provide hormone thru the testes?)

I want to also take Arimidex pills or tablets (don't know which one is correct) for high Estrogen
(52.62 PG/ML from August.)

Or take Indolplex with DIM.
(do you take them both?) I still don't know if Indoplex with DIM lowers Estrogen or just balances it.

For my Testes and Postate:
50 MG. of Zinc?

For libido:
Muira Puama?

Additional results from Aug.:
LH level: 17.59
FSH level: 15.34
Prolactin level: 5.98

I want to display a plan toward my Endocrinologist, any information will be appreciated and helpful.

Your biggest problem is the E2. Ideally it should be around 27 pg/ml. Your total T is low (about the same as mine has always been).
Increasing the T will increase the E2 even more. So if you up the testosterone dosage, you should add Arimidex. My doc has me on 0,25 mg Arimidex every 3 days (this is one fourth of a tablet). I feel much better now. This is your best option. (If you take Adex, you don't have to take DIM: Adex is very strong). I think this is what you should suggest to your endo.

Keep taking the Zinc. You might also want to add a vitamin B-complex and, if you are tired a lot, magnesium.

Your LH and FSH levels are high, this means your brain is trying to stimulate the testes to produce T (high LH stimulates the leydig cells which produce testosterone), but apparently they are not capable. So, adding HCG (which is an LH analog) will not produce any effects in your case I think... (HCG does not produce more sperm: that is what happens if you increase FSH which stimulates the sertoli cells.). So, I don't think HCG can help you.

However, pmgamer18 was also (mis?)diagnosed primary, nevertheless HCG works quite good for him. You can always try to see if the HCG works for you. A typical "kickstart protocol" would be to inject 1500 ius every 5 days for a month (and draw follow up labs to see if it works). It's a temporary protocol that cannot be used for a long time, otherwise you risk leydig cell desentisisation.

So, in conclusion: best option for you IMHO is to up the Testosterone-dosage and to add Arimidex...
