I asked my doctor yesterday about my TSH level wich I thought was a bit high. I have normal T3 and T4 levels, but my TSH is 2.4 (a bit on the high side) my doctor said this is OK since my T3 and T4 levels are normal and that being on other hormones can cause fluxations in TSH levels. Is this accurate? TSH: 2.4 (0.35-5.5) Free T4: 1.3 (0.61-1.76) T4: 9.4 (4.5-12) T3 Uptake: 32 (24-39) Free Thyroxine Index: 3.0 (1.2-4.9) |

http://www.drrind.com/tempgraph.asp#directions I use a gauge like this one you can get it at Walgreens. http://www.wilsonsthyroidsyndrome.co...hermometer.htm If your temps are up and down of move more then .2 tenths your adrenals are in stress and need treatment. Here is a good link on reading tests. http://www.thyroid-info.com/articles/woliner.htm I have been treating my Adrenals and Thyroid for the last 10 months and so far this winter I have not got sick.

Is this you temp before getting out of bed under your arm. I feel you thyroid is low and you need to go by how you feel. At this link all the info you need is there. I just started helping out at the men's thyroid forum over there as co-moderator. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ If you temp is this low before getting out of bed it can mean your thyroid is low.

Phil, that temp was under my arm. I am going to revisit this issue with my doc, expecially since my sister was just diagnosed with a thyroid problem and is two years younger than me. My mother and her sister also have bad thyroids. |
