 Understanding Thyroid tests
Could someone tell me if these results are ok? TSH: 2.4 (0.35-5.5) Free T4: 1.3 (0.61-1.76) T4: 9.4 (4.5-12) T3 Uptake: 32 (24-39) Free Thyroxine Index: 3.0 (1.2-4.9)        |

Just on the TSH being 2.4 is a red flag and you need to check your basal temp. The TSH being high means that your pituitary is yelling at your thyroid to produce more although your T3-T4 numbers look normal. Look up the symptoms of hypothyroidism. |
