Default Undescended testicle

anyone have any experience with this and its develpmental, social consequences? Anyone around who has got some references, resources, or experience overcoming the same? Does the body catch up once there is intervention? I know depression and lack of virilization are problems. Does hormone replacement correct the issues? Thanks for any feedback you can give me.

I have youth onset IHH. The last 7 to 8 months I have been on HRT in order to try to overcome this lack of virilisation. No clear results yet... So it is not very hopefull. The only thing I can say for sure is that it is a very slow process....

Full story on these links:

My son had this, and I had it fixed through surgery when he was 6.
His doctor, (Childrens Hosp. of Philadelphia), stated that there would be no horomonal defiencies later in life, but a lower sperm count was possible.
He's 11 now so that time is coming. He's very athletic, and a gifted student.
I would think that early intervention is key.
After all how long could someone go on with this condition? (My son was in a great deal of pain).

Head Doc, here's another article that's worth the read.

Please note the high likelyhood of Testicular Cancer.

Apart from a 40% increase rate for TC, plenty of info on my site, with effects of growth delay (late boomer)

HeadDoc, if you a few minutes to spare and would like to know a little bit more about Testicular Cancer, then take five and have a look.

Later.

HeadDoc, the site is run by the most knowledgeable lay person I have every had the pleasure to come across.

He knows more about Testicular Cancer than most doctors and is on the invite list to most TC conferences, and would guess he is on first name bases the the top Specialists in America.

Yes I think it deserves it own STICKIE.

Later.

I had this, it was corrected with surgery as the hormonal shots (not sure what it was) did not work. Not sure what effect it had on me if any.

I have always retractile since teenager years after ochidopexy. The pain over the years was totally unbearable. TRT has stopped them retracting most of the time, so most pain has gone
