"Usual" dose of GH with HRT?

Anyone using Growth Hormone as part of their HRT? I'm curious as to what a common dosage is and whether I could afford it for the rest of my life.

Everyone is deifferent of course, but the so called "replacement" dosage is 1 1/2 units per day (seven days a week). I used it for several years and averaged 2units a day. 3 units a day gave me feelings of arthritis and/or carpel tunnel (the only reason I dont use it now is the expense)

My doc put me on 1IU a day. I think the most he would put me on is 2IU's. Getting prescription HGH at $350 for 30IU's running 5/2 it can get costly.

I iu ed as HRT is the max and should probably be lower. 2 ius ed or more is not HRT, it;s supraphysiological (sp?).

It's really important not to intake any calories in the form of food or drink 2.5 hours before and after your injection or you will negate the benefits and waste your money.

I'm taking 1.5iu 5 days per week. I have read conflicting reports in regards to food or drink. I defintley think you want to not have any carbs or sugar during that time but protein should not be a problem. It is your insulin you don't want to spike. Dosing also gets conflicting reports but from what I have gathered morning is best as to not upset your nightly release. Also, if you take it in the morning you can have some eggs and or lean meat for breakfast and have a normal lunch. Just try to get your carbs from things that are low on the gi scale and eat 4-5 smaller meals a day. I am paying about 9 dollars per IU and getting it legally deliverd to my door.
