ACtually they have been barking up the wrong tree its more about revitalizing the cellular matrix with proper bioenergetic medicine and by re estabilishing proper DNA synthesis, enymes and nutrients, reducing glycosation (rusting of cells) . Also balncing the CNS, Immune sytem, homormones are the big three. There is also a company that is getting to release the lastest and most sophicated way to measure your aging status by measuring the lenght of telemeres on chromsomes. I got to honor of speaking to one of the top 5 specialist in the country on autism. For once I have a conversation on a level that people can understand. It was hilarious going to these conferences and being ask where did I goto medical school or what is my ph.D , where do I practice. When they find out that this was self learned their jaws dropped. It just reasuring being told by top Dr's and specialist in the nation that it was an honor for them to meet with me. In just one night I got to speak to people that where colleagues to Amy yasko (the women was pioneer for the genetic testing which genova now has). I also spoke to Dr. Norman shealy assistant. He was the one that revolutioinized the magnesium treatment back in the 1990's. I finally found my calling in life and it was so amazing how i fit in...In will call you tonight and go into more detail about this.. |

Thanks Guys, i appreciate it. Do i post my questions in this section of the board or do post on a different section? I basically wanted to know the best possible regimen to slow the aging process down ( internally and skin ) and stay feeling and looking like i do in my 20's, for as long as possible. I want to keep my hormones like ther were when i was 18 years old ( im 24 ). I also have questions like how come when we are in our teens, we can eat all the junk food we want, stay lean and muscular ( i do ), stay perfectly healthy, have no chelesterol problems, no blood pressure problems, rarely any diseases, cancer, cardiovascular, ect? Does it all boil down to our hormones being high and optimal? What other substances and chemicals do we produce in out late teens that we dont anymore in our twenties and beyone, ect, that keep us looking and feeling young? What does our Testosterone, Estradiol and Estrone, DHT, Progesterone, GH, IGF-1, Thyroid, ect, levels, and our hormones levels look like when we are in our mid-late teens? Would keeping these levels of hormones the same as we age cause problems? Whats the best diet to follow and how much should we eat to slow down the aging process as much as possible? What supplements and how much of them should we take to slow down the aging process as much as possible? These are some of the questions i have, im REALLY interested in this stuff and want to follow it. |

Ok some good questions. Suggest that you find a basic book or books and then start to narrow what you want to know. here's a few: LEF Search - Welcome To The Life Extension Foundation Buyers Club Inc I also like Eric Braverman, MD, The Edge Effect. One of the things that I like about antiaging medicine is that it is very measurement oriented. So get used to tests, labs, and more labs. Did I mention labs? My first year working with this stuff, I felt like I was donating a pint of blood every other month for a year. There's also finding a doctor who's got some education and passion for all of this. If you are working with a doc who only wants to see you once per year and if you are gravely ill, you will need to find another doc. Ultimately, you will try to know as much as your doc.

read a book "the evolution of aging by Steve Austad or some of his other books. Steve is a professional colleague of mine and has an incredible grasp of what we know (or don't) about aging. |
