| Men's Health Forum: This is a discussion on what do AIs target within the Anabolic Steroids forums, part of the extensive steroid information at MESO-Rx; or do AIs target all estrogens or specifically E2?... |

AI's are used to target the conversion(aromatisation) of testosterone to estrogen. if too high a dose is used of the AI(anastrozole, letrozole, aromasin) it will drive estrogen levels too low wreaking havoc with lipid levels cause joint pains and lower sex drive. in Swale's Recipe For TRT he recommends if required to lower E2 levels 1/4 tab(1/4 mg) of arimidex(anastrozole) every third day or increasing to every other day if not sufficient. the idea being to use the lowest dose to CONTROL estrogen levels but not eradicate them. |

too high dose of testosterone most likely is a reson for high E2 in the first place, so keeping eye on FreeT and making sure that is not over the range is important. People with low (below 20) SHBG levels have to be specially carefull with T dosing and avoiding supplements that lower SHBG. Higher T supress SHBG. Higher E levels promote higher SHBG so I would think that E2 should be keept closer to higher desirable levels when SHBG is low, and opposite when SHBG is high.
