So when it comes to labs ranges I know all about how they get there numbers and it's too dam bad that the numbers they use for these ranges are samples from sick men. So every lab has it's own range. This is why I say try to get your levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range for a young man. My labs range is 262 to 1592 others are 300 to 800 and so on. Even the charts in the link are samples from sick men. So how does one know we don't. The last time I talked to a young man who was told he is OK his labs are in range at 325 I gave him this link to take into his Dr. to show him that yes he is in range but at the bottom of all the men sampled. He did this and his Dr. an Endo told him to leave that he can't help him WTF is with that you show the man what he did wrong and he tells you to leave. Here is a link on how ranges are made. http://www.intelligencetest.com/stan-deviation.htm Any good Dr. that did good in math knows this.

Specially when trying to compare results from different labs. Additionally I have my doubts when people rather than checking blood are using saliva or urine. There is so many variables that cannot be avoided, why adding new variables. -------------------------------------------- I stay with LabCorp since its ranges are quoted in many papers and their labs are located thruout the whole USA, other labs are mostly local. One think to keep in mind is that different labs operate in different areas (different population, race, genetic background) and from those areas they work out their ranges. I respectfully suggest that there is no other way to get a ref range. By sampling a HUGE group of men, the men that are hypo in the sample will have less impact on the range. How else could a range be made? Remember there are many men that are in the lower 1/3 of the "range" and are doing fine. They have families are happy , hold a job, etc. Otherwisew maybe we should only sample men that belong to "Muscle-Man Juicer Gym" then we would really get a "range".
