Hey i have always being hypogonadal test levels 14+/-2 (range 8-33) age 21. This was done 6 times over 2 years. Well anyway when I couldnt get someone to treat i did it myself sus 250 biweekly-yes i know but it was all i got- and hcg. I also had some nova on hand Now when i finally found a doctor to treat me I get tests done again and the result was 23. I dont know if this is from the hcg or nova kickstarting my testes or what. My oestrogen was 153 range up to 120. FSH anLH dont know exact values but were very low 1.something Now the doc does not feel i warrant treatment there. On the replacement i felt great sex drive strength and energy. Tests were taken 8 weeks after self treatment Now though the levels are raised i feel as before poor errections never morning wood increased fat gain decreased muscle gain etc. I am going to book an appointment with him. Have i any clinical argument for therapy now? |

That's when you just become up front and honest with the doctor and explain what happened...would I say you still warrant treatment? It depends. You'd need to figure out what caused the low test levels to begin with, get more bloodwork done, etc.

I'm 20 and on TRT. Not everyone is 'OLD'. Should I say that you are simply trying to avoid the natural process of aging by unnaturally altering your endocrine system? Some of us are young and never got to enjoy the 'good life', so to speak, without TRT. If someone needs TRT, he needs TRT, whether that person is 10or 60. |

Im 37, my Serum Test was 937, I never took any steroids or drugs. My libido is low, I am quite muscular, but not hard. I am 185, 5'11 about 12% bodyfat. No gyno. Is it possible in anyones opinion that even though my Test is high, that my free test is low, and my Estradiol is too high? I dont think the doctor will order the free test and estradiol test for me, as he is satisfied that my test levels are not to blame for my libido and malaise problems. Im thinking of doing .25 mg arimidex as a diagnostic to see if it helps? Can this cause me any harm ? Thanks |

I am in the same boat, Total T is as low as it can go without it being under that damned reference range. Thanks to someone who will not be named, many doctors in America will not prescribe testosterone. I treat myself with enanthate from Mexico, Greek Pregnyl and letrozole. If I were not on TRT, I would become a frail old man at age 33. I have suspected hypogonadism in myself for many years, finally pushed the issue and got tested last year.
