sorry to keep posting these topics, but I'm just trying to figure out if this is prostatitis, or DUE TO LOW TESTOSTERONE. When you bodybuilder dudes are having hypogonadism, and your T is down and balls shrink, do you feel persistent aching, unless you relax!? Do shrinking balls ache for weeks ?? who's experienced this? I'm just trying to figure this out.. |

Not being a bodybuilder or steroid abuser, but 35 years of experience with hypo starting at the age of 10, allows me to comment on this topic through experience. Treated with oxandrolone as a 12 year old for 12 months certainly left some problems with testicular atrophy and pain. As the ingunial canal didnt close, I am still retractile, more than the avarage guy. Past experinec jumping off a ladder caused pain in the lower abdomen and testes popped back up. Terrible cramping and buckling over in pain wasnt normal and plenty of time I underwent testicular ultrasounds to find out what was wrong. Since trt, there is still retractile left testes, (to the lower abdomen) but there is no pain. At times, before trt, it looked like I had an bilateral ochidectomy I cant explain the extent of the pain as it was undescribable, but obviously it was a lack of testosterone that was the underlying cause. Also helpful, apart from bloods, is the ochidectomer...it will also give clues as to the tanner stage of development

Provided by: MayoClinic.com Last Updated: 04/07/2006 Q: What are possible causes of testicle pain? A: The testicles are very sensitive, and even a minor injury can cause pain or discomfort. Possible causes of testicle pain include: * Infection or inflammation of the epididymis (epididymitis) or testicle (orchitis) * Injury to the scrotum * Impaired blood flow to the testicle due to twisting of the spermatic cord (testicular torsion) * A stone in the lower ureter, which can cause pain in the testicle on the same side as the stone * Enlargement of the veins within the scrotum (varicocele) * Fluid in the testicles, such as due to a spermatocele or hydrocele * Testicular/prostate cancer Severe pain in the testicles requires prompt medical attention. Also, see your doctor if you have: * Mild testicle pain lasting longer than a few days * A lump or swelling in or around a testicle

I can't say it was pain but I had a low pain in my groin that went from my testis to my prostate seen every kind of Dr. for this for yrs. Then when I found out about high E2 "Estradiol" and got it down this went away. My Dr. had said some time ago my prostate was the normal size for my age 55 at the time. Getting my E2 down this low pain was gone and when my Dr. checked my prostate it went down in size. High E2 will aggravate your prostate and testis.

Kingdomcome, you also took finasteride? Or you just have pain? since when do you have pain, do you have hypogonadism, low testosterone? btw pmgamer, my estradiol level at 3 weeks off was 18 pg/mL (8-45). I haven't had it checked since the last 6 weeks though. What is this stuff you recommend trying? Would it serve me some purpose? Thank you for posting. |

Bayou, I'm going, but doctors don't know and say it will go away. Did you take propecia? And how about your pain in prostate and balls, how long did that persist for you and what did you do/take to cure? How old were you? thank you for the response. B |

I have my ED enough under control that I can have sex. But if everything was ready to go and she refused penetration I would not get a blue balls now. The pines is erect and ready to do the job but there is not enough overall tesion or excitement, something is still missing. I am 67yo. Any ideas? At this point, I am missing the blue balls feeling, not the discomfort but the tension that goes with it. |

Benaiah, My experience was with a condition known is torsion of the testicles (mentioned in an earlier post). It starts out as a dull ache in your nuts that eventually goes away...for a while. But each time it comes back, it gets worse until you feel like someone has landed a direct kick to your balls and you hurt so bad you can’t stand up or sit still. Torsion of the testicles happens when the cords attached to your testicles get wrapped around each other, cutting off blood flow to them. If I had not gone to the doctor and had emergency surgery, I would have lost them. That’s why I urged you to see a doctor for any persistent pain. If he/she is clueless, go to another without delay. JanSz, The term "blue balls" refers an aching feeling you sometimes get in your nuts when you know you just have to have sex. It's not a medical condition... nor is it meant to imply that anything actually turns blue. It may be term used jokingly among men mostly in the southern US. Sorry if it caused any confusion. Regards, B230
