For people who have ADD, the prefrontal cortex doesn't work very well. Physician give stimulant to increase DA and NA for this people. Stimulant release DA and NA in the prefrontal cortex. But the paradox this drug deplete the presynaptic NA and you increase adrenal fatigue. I know people who have ADD with adrenal fatigue. The doctor give him ritalin, but It's feel depress and fatigued after only 2 days on this drug. The doctor give him hydrocortisone, testo, thyroid but he have a crash too AFTER only 2 days on ritalin.
I try to understand the pathophysiology of this situation because it's too complex. May be Marianco can help to understand
I have been on Conserta for a long time I tested low on a blood cortisol test but my pituitary is bad. I feel better on Conserta I am not ADD my Dr. gave it to me for fatigue and it helps. But I don't have adrenal fatigue my pit does not send the messages strong enough to make more cortisol. So I will be on HC for life.

thank, may Marianco can help understanding what the problems are when people who take tyrosine with moclobemide + ritalin and hydrocortisone feel very best the first day with, feel little less good the second day and feel tired the third day ?????
I try to understand because there are a precursor of catecholamine, there are a product that release NA and DA, there are an anti-catabolic of catecholamine IMAO and hydrocortisone to protect of cortisol fatigue.
I'm glad I found this thread. I have been battling adrenal fatigue since I was 18. Not only have I been on adderall since then, but I have used the ECA stack over and over for pre-contest shredding. Needless to say, my adrenals are shot. I have tried things like DXM treatment or taking benadryl every night for a week, but the only thing that helped curb my tolerance was Ampheta-Restore. It supposedly works like reset ad, but is designed for more hardcore stim use. Whatever it does, it makes me feel my stimulants again. Also, do you think a switch from add to concerta would be helpful?
