Just wondering if someone could nutshell the relationship between adderall and htpa. I have been on Adderall for 8 years (usually on and off). I went steady at it over the past year. Now I can take 60mgs and go to sleep!!! Is this affecting my hormone levels. I have supplemented testosterone in the past and now I am prescribed t-cyp for replacement. I was low (300ng/dl) prior to ever using AAS. Also quick question about reaction. I recently started back on Paxil. The other day I injected 2500iu of HCG with test cyp 200mg. I began paxil that day. Adderall already said. Crazy experience. This was all late in the afternoon. By 2 am, I was feeling racy and a little short of breath. I was trying to remain calm and go to sleep. As I was dosing i noticed that I was starting to get jumpy and feeling wierd. Was pretty sure I was about to have some kind of siezure. I got up and paced around. Felt like getty out of control. I looked in the mirror and my pupils were dialated!!!.. About to panic so last resort I took a couple of shots of albuteral to try to neutralized whatever was happening. Seemed to work in about an hour. i had recently been diagnosed with really low T (75ng/dl) due to some crap I was putting in that was not test. Was the re-addition of testostetone to my body increasing seratonin as well? Was this almost a seratonin syndrome?? Can anyone tell me what was happening.??? I

The HCG is a one time jolt to keep the size up. That was my idea. I am not ready to permanently shrink the boys. Nor do I plan to. I am just not going to go on at 300ng/dl..... The adderall is mute. I have to eat 60mgs to just be normal.. I can take both in the morning and go to sleep, if I have the day off. The albuteral (inhaler) is a beta blocker and actually shuts you down. It does not act as oral clenbuteral (if that was your thought). I rarely have a need for it. Appreciate all help. I will try to read on....

BBC3, Only my opinion, but based on experience. I too have taken adderall for a few years (not that high of a dose). I also take Lexapro. I recently started TRT with 800mg of pellets and taking 250iu of hCG eod. Because of testicular atrophy I have recently switched to 500iu e3d. I can tell you that adderall is nasty. I don't take it as often. My theory is that the dopamine level increases you get from increased testosterone help to combat the need for the dopamine level increases you get from adderrall. I can tell you that when I initially started my TRT protocal that adderrall made me anxious. I would suggest coming down on the adderall. Drink a small cup of coffee in the morning the first day you come down on your dosage. The shortness of breath probably has to do with anxiety (I have been there and been confused thinking it was asthma. Since you are on a good bit of exogenous testosterone, the 2500iu of hCG is too much. From what I have read on the board, I think that dose is wasteful and does more harm than good. If you had a spike in dopamine levels, you possible dropped your seratonin levels further causing anxiety. The good news is that most of this should pass if you are not going to take that high of a hCG dose again. But again, try coming down on your adderall now that your TT is going up. I find if I take a high dose of adderall that the crash or come down is hard -- I am mentally burned out and so tired that it further increases anxiety because I want to sleep (viscious cycle). Since I have started TRT, I have not taken adderall many days and been fine. Try to differientiate between the clinical function of adderall and your desire to have that "speed" feeling that can be addictive. |

You may be thinking of attenolol, a classic beta blocker. I am not aware of a beta blocker inhalant, and would be surprised if there is one, as I dont see any benefit to administering it in that fashion. I think you need to be under a doctor's care and that your current protocol is wreckless and dangerous. End of rant. I hope you decide to make some changes, so you can live and long and healthy life. |

Personally, I am sure that adderall is BAD news. I am compulsive as it is. I am also a dopamine junkie exibited in my love of nicotine. Smokeless... obviously I cant discontinue the nicotine with the adderall around as it encourages.. I AM Stopping the adderall. I may wean. I am not sure. I have only been going steady for 9 months now. That is the longest period ever without a break.!!! I have read interesting things out there about people having sexual disfunction over amphetamines. I now believe it true. Many may not admit this. The dopamine reaction is so strong with adderall, if I take all 60 mgs in the morning, I will actually ejaculate after uninating. Anyone else know about this. I dont think I am beyond repair. But I am definitely going to pay a price for I am guessing about a year!!!!!
