I took 1mg of adex last night. I was having problems with panic attacks after hCG shots, and saw my estrogen was high (Throught blood tests). After taking 1mg last I was OK...this morning I was fine...by the afternoon I was on edge again, by 5pm I was in an ambulance having the worst panic attack of my life. I couldn't breathe. At the hospital they did a CT scan, checked my heart, no problems. After 2 valium, I was calm...but I'm still feeling a bit sick from the 3 hours of hell I was put through today...I have no clue as to what I should do now.

I eat daily in divided dose six pills of http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/item00969.html two pills of http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/item00359.html I do not over-load on testosterone, because it may just turn in to excess estrogene. I use 0.75gram of 100mg/1gram T cream and 250IU HCG (not sure but my testis are most likely not producing T), if they were I probably would reduce Tcream dose. I will have more info on my next blood test. I do not use Arimidex. |

remember to you may be experienceing a dopaimine increase from possible lowering of estrogen since it may have been elevated for a prolong time freeing up test. Excessive dopamine will cause anxiety possible. |

Once panic attacks start they will keep coming on becasue your worried about them and one can't help worrying about them. Try a low dose of valium or Xanax until you calm down.

It was E2 that was tested. I had 46pn/ml and all it gave for a reference range was that anything below 57 was normal. On the blood test it said that free test was either too low to count OR he didn't test for it. I'm not sure which.

Was last night your first dose of the Arimidex? It has a half life of five days and takes a while to build up. Even after it builds up it only blocks new E2 from being formed. It doesn't reduce your existing level of E2. All this means that you shouldn't expect overnight results by any means. Maybe you have been taking it for a while, I don't know. Have you stopped taking 500IU HCG at a time? That much at once can raise your E2 overnight. If you are still taking that much, I would cut that in half. |

Would switching to test shots be a good idea? Would this cause any problems with E2? My doctor is perfectly willing to give me testosterone shots instead. I'll write this here, but will post in it's own thread if I don't get an answer. I was on testosterone before. I went off because I had dead sperm. My wife and are going to try to have a kid in Decemeber. I came off the testosterone and my sperm returned (Although low). My doc suggested hCG until I had a kid. I'd like to switch to testosterone until it comes time to make babies. Does this sound stupid or reasonable? |

How long have you been off T and on HCG, what is your age, and why did you begin T therapy to begin with? |

Other symptoms I suffered from were low energy (So low that I had to take naps during the day on most days). I stopped going out partying with friends, although this proved to be good for my training. I felt easily irritated. Low libido was never a problem, which I assume isn't always a problem on low T anyways. I was told that I may just be dealing with depression, but decided that it wasn't that. Saw a doc, asked to get a regular blood test, and at the same time asked if he could do a hormone panel. That led to more tests...and here I am today. |

Are you still overweight? If so this is likely your biggest problem leading to higher E2 levels which then suppresses your natural T levels. Then of course the E2 leads to panic attacks, either to low or to high, I believe, but I am not positive on which. Phil probably knows. If you are overweight and already have high E2 levels, the HCG is further exasterbating that problem. I would cease HCG altogether since you have been on it for about 3-4 months. I would say it is time to go natural. By December I would think your sperm should be close if not all the way back to full production. If you get your weight were it needs to be and are doing high intensity weight training 2-3 times per week and eating a diet with 30-40% good fats, your T levels should normalize at your age. At 28 years old you don't want to monkey around with hormones unless you have an absolute problem. Diet and exercise are the key for you at your age. |
