Androgel vs. Androderm patch

here is a question...it COULD be my imagination....but....

I tried Androgel for a long time, and noticed a moderate jump in my sex drive, but that's about it.

Then I try some Androderm patches "just for yucks". Same dosage of testosterone. And my whole body feels electric. More alert, more energetic, etc. The effect was instantaneous (like within 12 hours).

Is it just my imagination? How could this be?

I heard that they are use to top off the injecables but not very effective on there own. Where did you get them. PM me.

got 'em at walgreens. doc prescribed them.

It is a different delivery system, so you may be getting better absorbtion.

I've used Androderm for almost 10 years now to primarily try to hold on to as much muscle mass as possible. I just turned 50 and I have to say I have alot more energy and ability to lift heavy weights than most of my buds the same age. I also look much younger then them according to my gf (of course, she could just be stroking me LOL). I attribute all that to the Androderm patches (I wear 2 , 10mg patches per day).

I say, if you find they work that well for you, then have at 'em.

I do not prescribe them too much because they will cause a contact dermatitis in about 2/3's of the patients. Also, the patches are quite conspicuous in the locker room.
